Welcome to Ahwatukee.

Ahwatukee is a master community of Phoenix Arizona nestled on the back side of South Mountain. Shaded from the hot summer sunsets, this enclave offers all that one seeks in life. At more than 16,000 acres, South Mountain Park/Preserve is one of the largest municipally managed parks in the nation and consists of three mountain ranges - the Ma Ha Tauk, Gila and Guadalupe. The park boasts more than 51 miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking. Additionally, the roadways throughout the park are a favorite for bicyclists. This is the best back yard any city could ask for.

At night, between 6-9pm, we have the Ahwatukee breeze which rolls in from the mountains and desert. It rustles through the palm trees and tickles your skin almost every evening. Since it’s located on the other side of the mountain from downtown Phoenix, Ahwatukee's light pollution is a bit less giving a clearer night sky with visible planets and stars. This is the best part as Ahwatukee feels removed from the city but is located minutes from the urban and modern amenities needed in life such as the airport, shopping, freeways, Downtown Phoenix, stadiums, and restaurants.

Our son went to Adobe Montessori from 2.5-5 Years old. Our personal experience there was beyond words. We watched our son blossom from a toddler into an engaging, assertive, social, problem-solving kindergartener. Mrs Root, the Principal, is amazing. Her passion, experience and constant observation created a foundation for our son that we believe could not be replicated.
